Identify the two powertrains with applicable records

Request original-market designation, production information, status and fitted propulsion. The CS55 vehicle record supplies the general identity method. Changan Peru’s iDD technical sheet describes a regional PHEV arrangement; it does not establish every China-sourced offer’s charging system, equipment or history. Keep its published figures with that version rather than applying them universally. Obtain relevant factory information for both actual cars, including any changes. A PLUS badge alone cannot settle whether the candidate is the petrol or iDD proposition being compared. Resolve inconsistent records before assigning either an inspection scope or an operating-cost advantage. Keep the original and PLUS family distinction alongside the specific propulsion record instead of treating every original CS55 as an iDD candidate.

Describe the customer’s normal journeys and charging access

Write a typical week of routes, passenger load, parking and available time. If the confirmed iDD arrangement is plug-in, identify realistic compatible charging opportunities using the actual vehicle requirements and responsible providers. The no-home-charging assessment explores that purchase situation. Do not treat a nearby station symbol as proof of usable access or assume every customer can install a home arrangement. Keep the petrol alternative’s ordinary refuelling and support requirements in view. The buyer needs a routine they can actually follow, not a promotional combined-range claim detached from charging, operating conditions and the selected configuration.

REVIEW / 03

Keep energy observations on an understandable basis

For petrol, request fuel records with units, route and reset context through the consumption review. For iDD, obtain appropriately scoped fuel and electrical-use observations, with operating circumstances and charging context where relevant. Do not mix an electric-only result with fuel use from a depleted operating state into one unexplained cost number. Use supported local energy assumptions only when explicit. If adequate observations are unavailable, retain that uncertainty. A regional test-cycle figure does not establish the actual customer’s weekly bill. Separate a preference for a possible operating benefit from the evidence needed to quantify it for these vehicles.

REVIEW / 04

Require the right professional condition assessment

Arrange appropriate qualified inspection for both selected configurations, with relevant specialist scope for an electrified candidate. The iDD battery evidence guide asks what a report actually establishes. Do not invent a universal battery-health threshold, interpret a dashboard range as a condition certificate or prescribe high-voltage work. The petrol vehicle also needs its own engine, gearbox and history review. Keep findings, limitations and planned correction separate from completed results. An apparently attractive powertrain can still fail an essential condition requirement. A model-specific brochure cannot replace actual inspection, and a clean demonstration does not eliminate every component uncertainty.

REVIEW / 05

Confirm receiving support and equipment usefulness

Ask appropriate receiving providers about the actual powertrain, components, procedures, instructions and charging arrangement. The support enquiry helps keep identity with each question. Confirm any warranty or battery-related coverage with the responsible provider and territorial terms through the existing warranty guide. A general claim that Changan parts are available cannot establish support for every electrified system. Demonstrate relevant cabin functions separately from propulsion. An iDD designation does not prove every connected service or language setting the customer needs. Keep any essential unsupported function visible rather than counting the entire trim or powertrain package as a ready benefit.

REVIEW / 06

Compare the complete purchase and usable reserve

Align dated offers, currency, delivery basis, supplied items and supported preparation. The complete quote review prevents a vehicle-only petrol amount being compared with an iDD offer including different services. Include relevant receiving estimates and any confirmed charging-arrangement cost without inventing installation or electricity values. Keep unresolved essential work separate from fixed allowances. The iDD premium should fit the customer’s usable routine and available reserve; a petrol candidate may meet the brief more simply. Neither route deserves automatic approval based on a nominal fuel-saving expectation before present condition and local support have been assessed.

REVIEW / 07

Select a documented operating proposition

Choose the iDD offer when its confirmed propulsion, realistic charging use, relevant condition and support justify the complete amount. Choose a suitable petrol vehicle where it meets essentials with a better-supported routine and budget. Seek another candidate if neither qualifies. Record the actual powertrain and accepted equipment in the purchase schedule, with limitations retained. A reference photograph of a grey PLUS is not an iDD configuration or battery-condition record. Reassess substitutions separately. Avoid promising universal economy, fixed range, transferable coverage or identical systems across every iDD advert when the decision concerns a particular original-market vehicle.

Before choosing this offer

  • Actual propulsion documented
  • Ordinary routes and charging reviewed
  • Energy evidence scoped
  • Relevant qualified inspection
  • Receiving support and full cost confirmed

Buyer questions

Does a PLUS badge establish petrol or iDD propulsion?

No. Request the actual original-market configuration and relevant factory records.

Can an electric-range display certify the battery?

No. Relevant professional assessment needs its own method, scope and limitations.
